Concepts to recognize

Student discipline

Do not memorize this as a fixed prediction. Use it as a method: identify the factor, check condition, compare supporting layers, then write a useful answer.

The eight factors

Varna is traditionally connected with temperament and spiritual orientation. Vashya relates to attraction and influence patterns. Tara relates to nakshatra-based wellbeing and flow. Yoni relates to instinctual chemistry and conflict style.

Graha Maitri compares Moon sign lords and mental compatibility. Gana compares temperament groups. Bhakoot evaluates Moon sign relationship and family prosperity concerns. Nadi relates to vitality category and is often weighted heavily.

How to explain low scores

A low factor should be translated into a human question. Low Graha Maitri may become: how do the two people communicate when they disagree? Low Gana may become: are temperaments paced differently? Low Nadi may require a qualified review rather than an automatic rejection.

The danger of total score obsession

Two matches with the same total score can have very different risk profiles. A 24/36 with low Nadi may need different review than a 24/36 with weaker minor factors. This is why the factor table matters.

Product presentation

A strong matching UI should show:

  • Total score and band.
  • Strongest supports.
  • Main cautions.
  • Factor-by-factor explanation.
  • Dosha review.
  • Full chart context when paid/detailed.
  • Pundit review recommendation when needed.
