Concepts to recognize

Student discipline

Do not memorize this as a fixed prediction. Use it as a method: identify the factor, check condition, compare supporting layers, then write a useful answer.

Lordship is the hidden engine of interpretation

A planet carries the houses it rules. This is why the same Mars placement can mean different things for different ascendants. Mars may carry career and property themes in one chart, and conflict or transformation themes in another.

Before judging a planet, always ask: which houses does it rule, where is it placed, and what topics does it carry into that house?

Aspects and conjunctions

A conjunction joins planetary functions in one sign and house. An aspect sends influence from one planet or house to another. The effect depends on the planet, dignity, functional role, exactness, and whether the topic is activated by dasha.

Classical Jyotish aspects include special full aspects for Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. These can make a planet influence houses where it is not physically placed.

  • Conjunction: shared space and blended expression.
  • Aspect: influence or pressure across signs/houses.
  • Special aspects: Mars 4/8, Jupiter 5/9, Saturn 3/10 in addition to 7th.
  • Read aspect quality through planet condition and functional role.

Yoga validation

A yoga is a meaningful combination, but not every technical yoga deserves headline treatment. Validate a yoga through planet strength, house relevance, dignity, repetition, dasha activation, and whether the chart gives a channel for the yoga to operate.

For example, a wealth yoga connected to 2nd and 11th houses becomes more meaningful when the lords are strong, connected to career or skill houses, supported by D9/D10, and active by timing.

Interpretive bands instead of false precision

A professional report should avoid pretending that every yoga creates a mathematically exact outcome. It is better to use bands: strong emphasis, supportive emphasis, mixed emphasis, needs care, or technical only. Then explain the evidence.

This is more honest and more useful than saying a person has a career score of 8.1 without explaining the chart factors.

Writing the result

After evaluating lordship, aspects, and yogas, write in plain language. Name the chart factor, translate its meaning, and give a practical implication. Do not bury the user under Sanskrit labels without explanation.
