Student discipline

Do not memorize this as a fixed prediction. Use it as a method: identify the factor, check condition, compare supporting layers, then write a useful answer.

A gemstone strengthens

The core safety principle is simple: a gemstone strengthens the planet it is associated with. Yellow sapphire supports Jupiter, pearl supports Moon, blue sapphire supports Saturn, diamond supports Venus, ruby supports Sun, red coral supports Mars, emerald supports Mercury, hessonite is associated with Rahu, and cat's eye is associated with Ketu.

Strengthening a planet is not always the same as helping the person. The planet's role in the chart must be reviewed first.

Functional role matters

A planet can be naturally benefic but functionally complicated for a specific Lagna. Jupiter is naturally benefic, but if it rules challenging houses or is debilitated and tied to sensitive topics, a direct gemstone recommendation may need caution.

Likewise Saturn may be naturally difficult but functionally important for Capricorn or Aquarius Lagna. This is why generic lucky gemstone lists are risky.

Dasha context changes priority

If Rahu dasha is running, Rahu themes may dominate the lived period even if another planet is important in the chart. Remedy priority should consider the current Mahadasha and Antardasha, the dasha lord's placement, and what the user is asking about.

For example, if Jupiter is debilitated and Rahu dasha is active, the answer should not jump to pearl simply because Moon is comfortable. It should explain why Jupiter and Rahu need careful review and suggest low-risk supports first.

Yellow sapphire example

Yellow sapphire is traditionally connected to Jupiter. If Jupiter is auspicious and strengthening it supports Lagna, dharma, wisdom, family, teachers, or children, it may be discussed. If Jupiter is debilitated, heavily afflicted, or functionally tied to difficult houses, the recommendation should be reviewed carefully.

A safer path is to begin with Jupiter behaviors: humility, truthful speech, study, guidance from teachers, generosity, ethical decisions, and Thursday reflection. Then decide whether a gem trial is appropriate.

Trial and review

When a practitioner approves a gem, many traditions use careful selection, metal, finger, day, mantra, purity, and trial period. The app should not present these as casual shopping instructions. It should advise discussion with a qualified practitioner before buying or wearing gems.
